Dating during the holidays has always been a quandary for most.š Thereās even a dating term exclusive to the holiday season called āsnow-globingā. Like when your date started inviting you to holiday parties and even family events, which seemed as things took a more serious turn, but only then to find out that youāve been ātrickedā.š Basically, snow-globing means they used the holiday season to con you into thinking your relationship is more serious than it actually is. Hmmm. I have never purposefully introduced a date to my parents without being serious. But at 48, after a few dates, i would have no issue to invite them to Christmas or Thanksgiving - it's my home. If I liked them enough, even only as a friend, I'd offer so they don't spend it alone...
